New Software Is Coming

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 is coming soon. Exactly how soon it will be available for purchase is not known at this time, but be ready for it. Also expected to ship next year are Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008. It defiantly looks like the upcoming year is going to be a big year for new versions of Microsoft products.

It is strongly recommended that you make sure your Software Assurance is current so when these new products are released you are eligible for the upgrade under the Software Assurance program. If you are looking to purchase new server products it would be a good idea to include Software Assurance with your order to ensure that you have rights to the new versions when they are released.

The second option for SQL is to license by processor. The processor license allows for unlimited clients to access the SQL Server. This is the best option if you are going to be using SQL Server in a website. SQL is a powerful database tool, contact us to make sure you get the proper licensing to fit your needs.
